Kaydee - Cradle

Kaydee were a four-piece pop rock band from Kilkenny, Ireland which existed between 1994 and 1998. One member in particular, Tara Blaise has gone on to have a successful solo career. Members of Kaydee are:

JJ72 - Formulae

JJ72 were an indie rock band from Dublin, Republic of Ireland. The band was formed in 1999 by lead singer Mark Greaney and drummer Fergal Matthews, with Garvan Smith on bass. On June 22, 2006, JJ72 issued a press release announcing they were to split up after seven years together. They cited a struggle with their record label as their main reason for the split.

Royseven - You Can’t Hide That

Royseven are a six-piece alternative rock band from County Dublin, Ireland. Royseven’s debut album, The Art of Insincerity was released in October 2006. The band has received the Hope for 2007 award at the Meteors.

D:Ream’s achievements in their musical career:

  • 4 Top 30 hits: the first release of “Things Can Only Get Better”, “Unforgiven”, “Blame It on Me”, and the double A-side “Star” / “I Like It”;
  • 1 Top 40 hit: “The Power (Of All the Love in the World)”;
  • 1 Top 75 hit: the first release of “U R The Best Thing”.

Neosupervital - Now That I Found It

Neosupervital is a four-piece electro-pop band based in Dublin, Ireland. Members Tim Vital, Jessie LoveAction, Miss K and Dancin Vin have been described as Ireland’s answer to Hot Chip or LCD Soundsystem. Tim also drums for Bell X1 when they are on tour.

Pet Lamb - Insult to Injury

Pet Lamb were a hard rock band from Dublin, Ireland. They formed in 1991. The band signed to Blunt Records, a label owned in part by Andy Cairns of Therapy, in 1993 and released their first EP, Paranoid from the Neck Down. After this EP, the band signed to Roadrunner Records, released the Black Mask EP, before their debut album, Sweaty Handshake.

Humanzi - Out on a Wire

Humanzi are an Irish rock band based in Dublin, Ireland. Humanzi released their debut album Tremors on Fiction/SFR July 24th 2006. It features the singles Fix The Cracks and Diet Pills and Magazines. Tremors was produced by Chris Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails) and Garreth Mannix.

The Devlins - Waiting

The Devlins are an alternative rock band originating from Dublin, Ireland. Their most recognized songs are Waiting, featured in remix form on the 2002 Six Feet Under soundtrack, but originally from their 1997 release Waiting and World Outside which was included in the 2004 drama Closer and also used in HBO advertisements for their original programming. They have released four albums until now and are recording their next album due out in 2009.

Hybrasil - When I’m Yawning

Hybrasil formed when five friends from the small seaside town of Wicklow, Ireland, built a homemade studio and spent six months working on demos that they passed out to their friends and anyone else that would listen. In 2005 the band was selected for the IMRO Showcase, Bud Rising Festival and Hard Working Class Heroes Festival. A number of high profile gigs also ,followed supporting such acts as Republic Of Loose, Idlewild and The Chalets, whilst they also opened for legendary Liverpool act The La’s, for their first gig in over a decade.

Big Tom and The Mainliners - Four Country Roads

Big Tom and The Mainliners is a Country and Irish Showband from the Castleblayney area of County Monaghan, Ireland. Originally named as The Mighty Mainliners, the band became famous after appearing on RTÉ Television in 1966 performing their hit song Gentle Mother which reached number 7 in the Irish pop charts. In the early seventies, the band changed their name to The Mainliners, however soon afterwards they adopted the name Big Tom and the Mainliners in line with other Irish Showbands where a single man was used to take centre stage.
